Cartridge Heaters offer a wide range of application advantages. With watt densities
ranging over 200 watts per square inch and a multitude of lead configurations,
Cartridge Heaters offer solutions where fast, efficient heat transfer is required.
The incorporation of controlled heat profiles and thermal controls reduce
temperature variations.
Flexible Heaters offer unparalleled design and application advantages over other more
conventional heating elements. Flexible heaters are unique in their ability to
be engineered for each application. These light-weight, extremely efficient elements
provide heat only where it is needed. In addition Flexible elements can
be manufactured in an infinite number of shapes and sizes.
Mica insulated heaters are unique combination of materials designed to increase heater
life and durability. The heaters shown represent typical heaters used in the plastics industry.
TUBULAR heaters are available in various diameters and materials. These industrial grade M
heaters can be formed into many shapes or supplied straight length and fully annealed
for forming. A wide range of fittings and electrical termination are available
CAST IN Aluminum and Bronze heaters are available in a variety of shapes with high quality as cast
or machined surfaces Kelvin can built to your specification.
Ceramic insulated heaters offer higher operating temperature with longer service life at lower
energy costs. These heaters feature interlocking ceramic segments, which reduce breakage and provide flexibility.
Coil heaters are small diameter, fully annealed and can be bent to a variety of shapes to meet specific
heating designs. The coils may be coiled cylindrically or flat depending on the application.
They can also be coiled to very small internal diameters which will provide heat 360 degrees in
circumference. Typical applications include nozzles for hot runner systems, packaging equipment,
medical and laboratory equipment, cast in heaters and air heaters.
Radiant Heater is a body with a higher temperature which transfers energy to a body with a lower temperature through electromagnetic radiation. Depending on the temperature of the emitting body, the wavelength of the infrared radiation ranges from 780 nm to 1 mm.
